Jamaican Food Trip in Montego Bay and Buff Bay

In my last trip to Jamaica I had the opportunity to visit some of the best places that you can eat some real Jamaican Food. This would be Jerk Chicken, Jerk Pork and Jamaican Patties. For this trip, a friend took me to 4 places Scotchie’s, Blue Berry Hills Jerk Centre, Tastee and Juici Patties. I will start with the Jerk.

My first stop was to a Jerk Centre place called Scotchie’s in Montego Bay to have lunch. Here we ate some Jerk Chicken with Festivals and a D&G Cola Champagne. Jerk Chicken has a nice spicy flavor and festivals are a crispy fluffy corn fritter. This place is very frequented at night. You can drink some Red Stripes with some of the chicken. Finger Licking Goooood….

Next Stop was the patties. For some good Jamaican patties we went to Tastee and Juici Patties. You can have there a variety of patties like: Beef, Beef and Cheese, Chicken, Vegetable and Soy. There is also some Sweet Potato Pudding and Coco Bread. Tastee and Juici Patties are the most recognized brands in Jamaica.

Last and not least we went from Montego Bay to Buff Bay. I was promised to taste the Best Damm Best Jerk Pork in my life, and I did. The long 3 hours trip from Montego Bay worth its weight in gold. After a long drive, we stop in the Blue Berry Hills Jerk Centre. We ate some Jerk Pork and Jerk Chicken with bread. With a nice beach view and the sunset we drove back to Montego Bay.
