Alexander Hamilton was the first United States Secretary of Treasury. Was part of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Hamilton is one of the two non-presidents on currently issued United States bills. The face of the $10 dollar bill is John Trumbull’s 1805 portrait of Hamilton.
