Yesterday was Bob Marley’s 70th birthday. In Puerto Rico we celebrate a Reggae Fest called Sound Of Jamaica in honor of the Legend itself. At the beginning there was a tribute that participate several local reggae singers including Millo Torres, Don Carmelo, Misael, Weslie, Boris Bilbraut among others. These are all the songs that were played by them in this order:

  1. Concrete Jungle
  2. Duppy Conqueror
  3. Kinky Reggae
  4. Forever Loving JAH
  5. War
  6. No More Trouble
  7. Lively up Yourself
  8. Natty Dread
  9. Burning and Looting
  10. Night Shift
  11. Get Up, Stand Up
  12. Buffalo Soldier

After this musical experience Don Carlos takes up the stage with his classical Roots Reggae. He performed like last time a saw him live at Rincón more than 10 years ago. He played most of his classics hits. Then Alborosie took stage for his bold dancehall style. This was the first time I see him live and it fulfilled my expectations. It was a very mellow mood concert listening reggae music under the moon at Bahía Urbana in San Juan Puerto Rico.
